Jerry Jochum, RA
VP of Architectural & Design
Jerome Jochum is a seasoned architect with over 38 years of diverse experience in architectural design, contracts, construction management, and office computer systems management. He has successfully managed a wide range of projects throughout his career, from small tenant fit-outs to large commercial developments, always maintaining high standards of quality and ensuring client satisfaction. Currently, Jerome serves as the Vice President of Architecture & Design at CMI General Contractors, where he oversees the design of various commercial projects, including multi-family apartments, medical spaces, educational facilities, retail centers, and tenant fit-outs. His extensive expertise allows him to navigate complex projects with a hands-on approach. Prior to his role at CMI, Jerome founded JF Jochum Architect, LLC in March 2003, initially based in Hancock, Maryland. He relocated the firm to Williamsport in 2005, later returning to Hancock in 2011. Under his leadership, the firm completed a diverse portfolio of projects. The firm consistently delivered nearly thirty completed projects annually. Jerome’s foundational experience includes 17 years at Lorenzi, Dodds, and Gunnill, Inc., where he was engaged in all aspects of architectural design and construction management. Earlier in his career, he laid the groundwork for his expertise as an intern at Grimm and Parker Architects, where he honed his skills in architectural drafting and office operations during college and summer breaks.
